In Pakistan

salam...

We just landed today from Dubai at 8:00 AM in JFK New York airport. Alhamdulilah, we had a safe trip. In Pakistan, on January 4, it was my uncle's Nikah (a part of our marriage tradition). I wore a White and Golden sharrarah (too tierd to explain). We had fun alhamdulilah, and we spend time with our family and relatives. InshAllah we will go back to Pakistan when it's time for my uncles mandih and wedding (we have 4 parts, 1: Nikah 2: Mandih 3: Wedding and 4: Waleemah), which "Might" be in May or August. I'm a bit tired from the trip. It was a 3 hour flight from Pakistan to Dubai, then we stayed at Dubai for 12 hours, alhamdulilah it was in the morning from 1:00pm to 2:00am so we spent time with my uncle (whos wedding) and who lives in a little while away from Dubai. Then our flight from Dubai to New York was 14 hours!!!!!!!!! I slept for about 7 hours and watched for the rest. TIRED! bye

Trip to Pakistan

Salamualaikum...

InshAllah, on December 29 we are going to Lahore, Pakistan! We have not went there for more than 5 years! We are coming back on January 23, so that's like, 3 weeks.
I can't wait because:

1) I like plane trips and this is a long one with one person TVs
2) We are gong in Emirates airline, which is a muslim one and my mom said they have VERY good service, they even say the dua (prayer for starting to drive, fly, etc.) before we take off.
3) I have not met my Aunt for 5 years and I want to meet the rest of the family (they are from my dad's side).
4) My grandma gave me $50 dollars and that's 3000 rupees (Pakistan dollars) in Pakistan and I want to buy jewelry, clothes and other stuff from there.
5) A LOT OF VACATION!
6) [and other reasons too :)]

So, you see I am SO excited...

Grandma's Arrive/So Sick Today

Salamualaikum Everyone,

[These are 2 small posts so I made them in to one)

Grandma's Arrive:

My grandma came on Thursday (October 24) and I had not met her for almost 11 whole months! In Texas when we use to live there I use to meet her every Saturday cause she lived a little more than half a hour away from us only. It was so hard not getting to meet her like that when I came here. I have been having lots of fun with her and sadly she is leaving this Wednesday.

So Sick Today:

Yesterday at school I was having the cough and a headache and stomachache and when I came back my temperature was 100.3, so I ate something and ate medicine, a while later my temperature was 100.4. In the night my grandma checked my temperature and i did not have fever. In the morning around 7:00 I had a fever of about 100.9!!!!! Right now I have a fever of 97.8 [THATS A LOT], just joking, I don't have any fever but my throat is hurting but I am feeling a little better, Alhamdulilah (Thanks to Allah). I did not go to school today because of me being sick.

Eid Mubarak!!!

Salamualaikum.

EID MUBARAK!!!! taqabbalal Allahu minna wa minkum
[May allah except from us and from you (the good deeds) ]

For the people who don't know about eid, not being mean, just to tell you, eid is a holiday in Islam. It come twice in a year and it is our only holiday. One of them Is Eid-ul-Fitr (which is right now), It comes right after Ramadan and the other is Eid-ul-Adha which comes during the Hajj time and comes 2 months after Eid-ul-Fitr.

For the eid, we came to Cape Cod, Massachutests (i know about the spelling :) with Shaikh Yasir Qhadi and we are staying in a beach house about 2 min walk from the beach. InshAllah I will write about it on Monday or Tuesday when we go back. At my school we got an eid break for a week (from last Wensday to the coming up Wensday) but when we go back on Wenday it is only half day because the last half of the day they are having an eid party. I hope you had a fun eid!

Starting School

Salamualaikum everyone...

I started school for the fist time ever in september!!! I WAS so excited, unlike now I just realized how hard it is to go to school! I go to school in Pensilvainia so it is a 1 - 1 in a half hour ride and so I have to wake up at about 6 AM and then I have to be ready by 6:45 and then my dad take me to this sisters house and she takes me and her kids to the school, she lives like half a hour from us, like she is between us and the school, and then school finshes at 3:15 PM and the sister takes me back to her house and my dad or mom pick me up from there, by the time I get home it's 5:00 PM!! Then I eat something and i have to study my Qur'an revision for 2 hours so I am done by about 8:00 then I have to do my homework which is a lot so it takes me a hour then by 9:30 I have to be asleep!!! I barley get any free time except for the weekends and the days I finish my lesson early. My school has Uniforms and it go's up to 6th grade, 3rd grade and up have to wear long sleeves and a hijab.

An awesome place for Vacation, Vermont (get it? V & V)

Salam everybody..

This week we were in Vermont (from Tuesday-Sunday night), it was an 9 hour drive including stopping (bathroom, food, etc.) but I would have enjoyed it a lot if it were not for my allergies (check out this- Allergies ) I have been looking like a red plum for the whole week, EVEN NOW- thats because I am allergic to plants like the link up there, so Vermont haslots of plants -full of nature- so I have been having allergies threw out the whole vacation :( , so NO, i did not enjoy it (at least not that much), but I am thankful our dad took us there... I have been on Medication too, 4 of them-FOUR!!!!!!!!! benedryl, zyrtag, some other one, and steroids-which is helping a little... My brother keeps saying I am ugly, so my dad said even when i do not have allergies I am cuter than him, cause he pulled out some of his hair that made a hole in his head - which of course makes him look weird... seasons pass inn is the hotel we stayed in, and I even have a T-shirt with a picture like that.

(i've only been in small ones [pls keep it a secret :) ] )...go check out at sixflags.com, oh did i tell you we are going with Shaikh Yasir Qhadi and his family,, so I will tell u about it inshAllah when we get back on saturday....

Swimming Pool...

InshAllah, there's going to be swimming pool classes, atleast that's what my mom thinks, so inshAllah we are going to the pool on saturday then we'll know, inshAllah.... LONG time ago, more than a year ago, my uncle got me a kids mini (well not really small, I can sit on it) a mini jetski, so I will take it, and see if the pool is big enough, which I hope, InshAllah it'll be... inshAllah I will ell you about it sat night or sun or wehenever....

Valero Day!

Hey everyone, salamualaikum

Yesterday (thursday 4/26/07) we went to valero rifindery, almost every single person who works at valero was to bring thier children, and my dad works there, he is an engineer at Paulsbero valaro rifindery. It was SO SO SO SO SO SO SO fun, the best day of my life, better than ski-ing! + My dad was working while we were haveing fun :) he came at luch time then went back until we were done

This is what we did:

1) We got to learn about pollution and what happens to the animals if we pollute, and then take a toy frog or lizard.

2) We dressed up like workers and he picked a number and I guessed right (there were groups and only 3 in ours), so I guessed right and got to be the leader and they took our picture.

3) We got to make special rockets that explode in the air 4-5 feet high!

4) We got to make silly puddy (that goouee thing that you play with)!

5) We got to make lip gloss!

6) We got a break and ate lunch with our dad (grilled chicken burger with coke).

7) We did drafting on the computer

8) We went to the lab and got to see some cool things.

9) We learned about CPR

10) We got to learn about the germs that come in you hands if you do not wash them, and how long and good you should scrub your hands with soap (she told us either to count to 20 or sing the ABC's or sing "Happy bithday" song to times).

11) We got to go in a trailer and learn how to escape from fire and what to do if fire comes in your house (that was my favirote part).

12) We ate Ice Cream with everyone

13) We went to my dads office for a few minutes and then went home.

Salamualaikum Wa Rahmatu Allah, My brother thought everyone would think I am a poet from the title, so I wanted to tell you "I AM NOT A POET" loud and clear! :). I made this poem today.

To understand the rhyming try to read the tashkeel (fatha, damma, kasra, sukoon, etc.) or read the english-arabic.

َجنَّةُ الفِرْدَوْسِِ جَنَّةُ الفَرْدَوْسِ, _________________ خَيْرُ دَرَجَةٍ فِى الجَنَّةِ .
فِيهَا النّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم,_____________ وَالصَّحَابَةُ رَضِىَ اللََهُ عَنْهُمْ .
وَسَطُ الجَنَّةِ فِيهَا مَنْ عَمَلُهُ جَيِّدٌ__________وَمَن فَازَ بِوَسَطُ الجَنَّةِ فَهُوَ فِى الآخِرَةِ طَيِّبٌ
أدنَى الجَنَّةِ نَتَكَلَّمُ عَنْهَا_______________, هِىَ فِى الجَنَّةِ آخر مُسْتَوَى
فِى الجَنَّة جَنَى الجَنَّتَيْنِ دَان,_________________ يَأْتِى فِى القُرْآنِ فِى سُورةِ رَحْمَان.

English-arabic:
Jannatu Al-Firdowsi, Jannatul Firdowsi, ________________ Khairu Darajatin Fil jannati
Feehan nabiiyu salla lahu alayhi wasallam ________Was Sahabatu radiya Allahu anhum,
Wasatu al jannati feeha man amaluhu jayyidun __wa man faza bi wasatil jannati fahua fil aakhirati tayyibun
Al-Adna aljaannati natakallamu anha,____________ hia fil jannati al aakhiru al mustawa,
fil jannati yujad janal jannataini daan,_____________ Yati fil al qurani fe surati rahman.
Tahtal jannati naran naara_______feeha ashkhasun yamaloonal fasada
al-munafiqoona fee adnan nari_______________ feeha kathirum minal ashjariz zaqoomi


english transalation:

The highist paradise, The highist paradise.
The best one from the levels of jannah (paradise)
In it is the Prophet Peace be upon him
And (in it) the Companions may Allahs please be on them.
The middle paradise had the one whose deeds are good.
And whoever succeeds with the middle of the paradise than he is in the Day of Judgment good.
the bottom of the Jannah lets talk about it,
In the Paradise it is the last level (of paradise).
In the Jannah there is Janal Jannataine Daan [1].
It says about it in Surahtu Rahmaan [2].
Under the paradise we see the hell fire.
In it are people who do mischief.
The hypocrites are on the bottom of the Hell Fire.
In it are so many of the Zaqqoom [3] Trees.

Me, my brother and my sister were taking a walk today when Abdullah (my brother) heard a crack, then he looked back and saw a egg that he cracked and i looked even more closer and guess what? it was a little tiny bird that was in a cracked egg, we were sure it was a bird's egg cuz the little tiny pink thing we saw had tiny beak, so i asked my mom and decided to bury it in front of our house, my brother reqested me that we do its Janazah (furenal) prayer first, but I said: First ofall it is an animal, Second of all, It was not born yet, and Third ofall, We are not sure if it had a soul yet or not....

Flight Cancled, Shaikh Yasir Qhadi comes over!

Baba (dad), if you read this post (That i doubt you will!) then read this note first (I don't mind anyone else reading the note either): I know that you think you met Shaikh Yasir in the airport and he is over at our house is not exciting, but, I am just writing this post cause I have nothing else to do on the computer nor on my blog!

The exitment is not because Shaikh Yasir Qhadi is over it is that he and my dad where go somewhere in a plane from the same airport and they met!

So this is the story:

My dad had to go to SanAntonio for some work today (friday march 16) and it was a bad weather and it snowed A LOT, so Guess whaT? My dad met Shaikh Yasir Qhadi at the airport! Cause Shaikh Yasir was gonna travel to somewhere to I do not know where... So because of the bad weather My dads and Shaikh Yasir's flights got cancled, actully A LOT of flights got canceled, So my dad had to come home and he brought Shaikh Yasir with him and he is spending the night...

Seince Projects: Chemical Reactions.

From now on in my school work the Sience Projects I do I will write them in my blog...

This project is called:

Chemical Reactions.
(in this chemical change, vinegar and baking powder react and give of a gas)

1) Firsd I poured vineger in a plastic bottle about half inch deep...
2) Then I poured 2 tea spoons of baking powder/soda in to the neck of a baloon...
3) Then I streched the neck of the baloon over the neck of the bottle, being careful not to let baking powder out of the baloon...
4) Then I lifted up the baloon and let the baking powder out and I shaked the bottle...

The baloon blew up half way itself!!!

The lesson is (i'm reading the book): "When the two substances react together, they form new chemicals or products. One of the products here is carbon dioxide, as bubbles of the gas, which inflate the baloon.


My lesson is that both the vinegar and the baking bowdere that makes chemicals and makes air to blow up the baloon...

If you want you can do this project, your suppose to use a funnel for the vinegar in the bottle and the baking powder in the baloon but I only did it with the vinegar cause it is hard with the baloon.

The problem is:....... VINEGAR STINKS, so close your nose while doing it and use the air freshener after useing it like I did (thats my instructions) :)

AGAIN! but only if we don't fight... ):

InshaAllah we are going ski-ing again, but only on one condition... "Me and my brother don't fight" (cuz we have wars!)...

We are going to a Al-Maghrib class on the weekend like last weekend like 2 - 2 1/2 hours away and our dad was going to give us a suprise by staying one more night at the hotel and going ski-ing on Monday but then he spoiled it and he said we're not going cause we fight TOO much, so Me and my brother prommised that we won't fight again until the weekend and if we don't he will take us so he agreed and our punishment for fighting so much in the past was he spoiled our suprise! That was going to be a REALLY nice suprise...

ME and My brother made a snow man for the FIRST time! and it came out perfect (mashAllah)!!!

What my brother made: The idea of trying to make a snowman, The top 2 snowballs, The eyes (he had the idea and i put them on), THe nose (I put that to but it was his idea).

What I made: The biggist snowball, the eyes (his idea), The nose (his idea), The smile ( my idea:), THe buttons that was my idea and I almost forgot, The hat....

The eyes, the smile and the buttons are from the game BINGO :)!

WooHoo!!! + Finally, but not what I was expecting

Ok, So I was expecting lots of snow, but not a snow storm in Newark DE, even if it was a snow storm then I would expect it to be soft but it is ice, but at least we can slide with the thing my dad got us outside... I wanted to take some pictures and show you cuz i cannot explaion but it is too dark it is 10:30 PM right now, and I am a bit tierd (u know I am awake cuz tomorrow is Saturday/Weekend) so InshAllah I will take the pic tomorrow morning.

So tomorrow InshAllah I will take pictures and edit this post and InshAllah even right more si it is intresting and I get more comments! REALLY, I need more comments...

A Cool FANTASY blog!

This is my 12 year old freind's blog, She is Shaikh Waleed's Daughter... Its called Sarah's Fantasy,
She copied me a lot in it, With her first post and the template :) (like me and my brother copied our dad with "dens")

So Painful, OUCH! So Sadful, UGH! So Funnyful, HEHE!

OK, this is how i will start:
I was gonna do this post earlier but i did not have time...
On 1/22/07 (January 22 2007) I had a allergy docter's appoinment... So they had to do a skin test on me because i was gettting allergies and hives just like that at grocery stores, shopping, parks, etc. and on the skin test they even did a penut one...:
So the painful thing is: They gave me 17 pricks and 1 blood test (a shot, i know all of you know what a blood test is, OF COURSE) they took 3 bottles of my blood!
The sadful thing is: I am allergic to every seasonol thing: Trees, Plant, Grass!, Flowers, Dust, ANIMALS!, Cats, Dogs, etc. ! and i could REALLY DIE if i eat penuts, so I am really afraid!
The Funnyful thing is short and is: When they did the penut test the hive was big so they gave me 2 Tablespoon Benadryl and when i came home I slept from 2:30 PM - 7:30 PM!!!! :) :) :)

The man sat down and started to get even madder about the little boy's questioning. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money. After an hour or so , the man had calmed down, and started to think he may have been a little hard on his son. May be there was something he really needed to buy with that $10.00 and he really didn't ask for money very often. The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door. "Are you asleep son?" he asked."No daddy, I'm awake," replied the boy. "I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier," said the man. "It's been a long day and I took my aggravation out on you. Here's that $10.00 you asked for."The little boy sat straight up, beaming. "Oh, thank you daddy!" he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow, he pulled out some more crumpled up bills. The man, seeing that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, then looked up at the man. "Why did you want more money if you already had some?" the father grumbled. Dr. Howard Kelly

One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry.

He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door.

Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water! She thought he looked hungry so brought him a large glass of milk. He drank it so slowly, and then asked, How much do I owe you?"

You don't owe me anything," she replied. "Mother has taught us never to accept pay for a kindness."

As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt stronger physically, but his faith in God and man was strong also. He had been ready to give up and quit.

I am from Pakistan. Everyone calls me an Dadi (GrandMother in pakistani lanuage) cuz i act like one! And i get SO teased.
I know i am a kid almost a Pre-Teen but i really like to act like a Adult:
1) When we go shopping almost EVERY time i act like and Adult, I walk by myself in front of my Mom or somtimes a little ahead, and i have to have my own Purse, and somtimes in Marshalls and Ross and shops like that.
2) I buy Adult shoes women size 5-6 or 2 1/2 -3 1/2, Adult size clothes somtimes shirts upto my knees
3) I treat my 6 1/2 year old brother like and adult and his Freinds.
4) (This is one thing i have to do and my mom likes it) Somtimes i stay home when my mom go's groceing (like lot's of older kids do stay home) and takecare of my Sister, Like my mom tells everyone i can do everything to takecare of My Sistter except 4 Nursing her (Cause she does not like Solid/Baby Food!)

Me Brother is a Clown after Eid Prayer :)

OHH!, tx dawah was aowsome! i made so many thing! ohhh!, anyways im going to an amusment park on eid inshAllah (saturday)! so many rides! tthen on sunday im going to Dallas inshAllah cuz my dads uncle lives there then im leaving on 5th inshAllah! in the amusment park (thats called "Kemah Board Walk" ) there is a ferris wheel, a......... fairy boat (i don't know what it is called, a invator (an upside down rollar coaster), a baby ferris wheel, a bouncer (my favirote), a train, baby airplanes, a sumbarine ride (dose not go underwater) , some helicopters that go high and swing around (another favirote), (ok this has been in Draft for a LONG time, now today is EID, im about to go to Kemah,, inshAllah)..... so many games its like a fair theres so many things like Rastraunts, Shops, Games, Rides, PlayGround, AND MORE!
And anywas im wearing at EID maroon shalwar kameez, chooria (bangles), pretty Neclace, and huge Earings!
i wanna tell my mom to HURRY UP so we can go si i will stop typing
